DHL is offering a YES Youth placement for unemployed South African matriculants who want to gain workplace experience in the logistics industry.
Role Summary:
This role requires a hardworking and adaptable individual who is willing to learn and take on daily tasks such as loading and offloading, following delivery procedures, and supporting the operations team. You will work under the guidance of team leaders and managers while maintaining professionalism and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow client requirements and DHL procedures
• Use equipment correctly and report any defects
• Record and report any issues with customer goods
• Work in different operational areas as needed
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric with English and Mathematics or Maths Literacy
• South African citizen
• Unemployed youth aged 18 to 29
• BBBEE candidates only
• Driver’s licence (Code 08) is an advantage
• Forklift or Reach Truck licence is an advantage
• CV, certified ID copy and certified Matric Certificate
