The company is seeking a committed and organised Distribution Centre Assistant (DC Assistant) to support various warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, is physically fit, and pays close attention to detail.
Position: Distribution Centre Assistant

Key Responsibilities
As a DC Assistant, you will support different functions within the warehouse, including:
- Receiving stock and preparing items for storage or dispatch
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Controlling and checking inventory
- Shrink wrapping and packaging items correctly
- Ensuring correct labeling and reporting errors
- Maintaining a clean work area and following health and safety rules
- Helping colleagues when required and participating in stock takes
- Operating a forklift if licensed
- Meeting daily and weekly warehouse targets
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must have:
- A Matric certificate
- One to two years working experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Strong attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Good teamwork skills
A forklift licence is an added advantage.
