Kaya FM has confirmed through a statement that they have suspended radio personality and podcaster Sol Phenduka with immediate effect.
The announcement came on Wednesday, just hours after his breakfast show slot which he hosts with Sizwe Dlhomo. The station said the suspension forms part of an ongoing internal process, but gave no further details, only noting that due process is being followed.
Phenduka, who joined Kaya FM in 2022 alongside Dineo Ranaka, has become one of the stations most recognizable voices. He is also well known as a co-host on the popular Podcast and Chill channel.
The move has left fans shocked with questions now swirling about the future of one of Kaya’s most popular presenters.
